Stephen Spielberg’s latest film, War Horse, tells the story of the friendship between a horse named Joey and a young man called Albert during WWI. When they are forcefully parted, the film follows the journey of the horse as he moves through the war, changing and inspiring the lives of all those he meets—British cavalry, German soldiers, and a French farmer and his granddaughter. The First World War is experienced through the journey of this horse. The film is based on the 2007 novel of the same name.
Local 12’s Jen Dalton recently attended the world premiere of War Horse and sat down with some of the stars to talk about their experiences working on the film. War Horse, opens in theaters nationwide on Christmas Day
