DERBY LINE, Vt. (AP) - A ski trip turned out to be a bust for 30 Boston-area college students. The students were searched after their chartered buses crossed back into U.S. from Canada.

Vermont state troopers say 26 students were cited for underage alcohol. Others face pot and drug charges.

U.S. customs officials note the legal drinking age in Quebec is 18, but in the states it's 21. While 18-year-olds can legally buy booze north of the border, they can't bringing it back into the U.S.

Some of the students may also face university disciplinary action.
